1st Annual Symposium – December 2025
Many thanks to EDF which hosted our 1st Annual Symposium in Aix-en-Provence on December 4th !
This event was a great opportunity to share SIGMA3 objectives and progress with +120 participants! We are grateful for every participant who contributed in making this Symposium a unique event. Thanks to all the meaningful discussions and shared experience on seismic hazard assessment and earthquake engineering !

1st General Assembly – June 2025
Many thanks to VTT which managed to settled down on June 5th and 6th the perfect conditions for our consortium sponsors and technical partners to meet and progress again on our goal : improve data, models and methods for the evaluation of seismic hazard at our critical facilities

Kick-off meeting – June 2024
SIGMA3 partners are excited to announce the official kick-off of SIGMA3, which took place on June 11th, 2024 in Aix-en-Provence (France). This new initiative builds on the success of previous SIGMA and SIGMA-2 programs and promises to bring even more innovation and collaboration. SIGMA3 aims at exploring the main following thematic : seismic sources, ground motion and linear site response, site response and hazard calculation.
